The Heiress

by Henry James

The Heiress was directed by Graham Johnson and featured Trevor Talbot who gave his usual immaculate performance, appearing very ill when required and moving throughout with great gravitas. His daughter Claire Talbot was also in the cast giving a controlled and totally credible performance. Mandy Brown provided good support as the 'scatty' sister. Kevin Dineen was excellent as Morris, the scheming suitor and Glynis Watson was impressive as the older and more serious sister. Good support was provided by Alison McGuirk, David Peckham, Isabel Trafford and Nikky Seamen. Thanks to Len Quaife and Peter Laurie for the excellent set.
